WHERE WE COME

 

La actividad cultural SEITAI fue fundada en Japón en 1954 por Haruchika Noguchi (1912-1976), maestro y terapeuta tradicional. Katsumi Mamine (1945-2020), que aprendió la cultura SEITAI directamente con Noguchi, inició su divulgación en Barcelona en 1970, primero en grupos reducidos y, desde 1976, en el dojo de la Avda. República Argentina. Desde el primer momento, contó incondicionalmente con el acompañamiento personal y el soporte institucional de Francisca Garrido, instructora de SEITAI y directora de la Academia SEITAI Barcelona.

En pocos años, aumentó considerablemente el número de alumnos hasta el punto de abrir un segundo dojo en la calle Milanesado. La difusión de SEITAI fue tan amplia que surgieron diferentes grupos de prácticas en otras poblaciones de Cataluña y España.

En la década de los años 80, a iniciativa de Eliseo Massafrets, se produjo el primer intento de crear una asociación SEITAI para aglutinar a los centros y practicantes de seitai. Pero Katsumi consideró que no era el momento, porque previamente era necesario encontrar un lenguaje con el que poder explicar a la sociedad el valor y el significado del descubrimiento de Noguchi sobre la estructura del movimiento vital, de las prácticas del movimiento espontáneo revitalizador y, en definitiva, del SEITAI.

Katsumi se dedicó a comprobar empíricamente la propuesta de Noguchi, a reordenar su exposición y a contrastarla con los datos más relevantes acumulados por la ciencia.

Al inicio del siglo XXI, la elaboración del concepto CVP como la estructura rectora del organismo, del esquema osei y de sus tres regiones, le permiten a Katsumi reordenar la exposición de su maestro y expone su trabajo en diferentes publicaciones en 2006-2007.

Después de cuarenta años de reflexión teórica y práctica, ha dotado al SEITAI de un nuevo lenguaje que, siendo plenamente fiel a la propuesta del maestro Noguchi, facilita su comprensión y las prácticas SEITAI.

Como era compartible por las diversas personas que se habían acercado a la cultura SEITAI, entonces consideró que una Fundación podía ser la casa común de la cultura SEITAI porque ahora sí se disponía de una sólida base para poder acoger las diferentes perspectivas y facilitar su difusión a la sociedad y la cultura.

A finales de 2010, Katsumi designa un grupo de personas para esta tarea. Este grupo elabora los criterios y estatutos de la Fundación.
Finalmente en mayo de 2016 queda constituida jurídicamente la Fundación SEITAI Barcelona, registrada en el Ministerio de Justicia.

The activities of the Academia SEITAI will be carried out in person and also online. In order to take part in the activities of the Academia SEITAI, you must have completed the Introductory Course and become a member of the Foundation.

Three weekly practice sessions are held:
Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (face-to-face)
Thursday from 6 pm to 8pm (hybrid)
Saturday from 11.00am to 1.00pm. 

Intensive katsugen undo practice every 4th Sunday of the month from 4pm to 8pm (hybrid)

Attendance at practice sessions for 2 years is essential to enroll in the orientation course SEITAI (OS)

SEITAI

We have grown and are alive thanks to our body.
No one like our body knows how to set our vital balance.

In the human organism’s growth as a foetus and as a baby, driven by its unconscious cellular activities, appears the conscious or singularly cerebral or mental psychic life, something that does not occur in animals: for example, a baby has the desire and ability to learn words and will ask soon why things happen.

So, this cellular unconscious that forms each personal human organism and the conscious that arises in it, are our natural background: the spontaneous self or spontaneous psyche-mind.

The great Japanese master Haruchika Noguchi started SEITAI culture over the past century, conceiving the great need of modern men and women of assisting and cultivating the vigour of life of each individual organism and observing and respecting each strictly natural spontaneous self.

And in order to fulfil these needs, he proclaimed:

• the simple practices of katsugen undo and yuki;
• and the reference, also simple, to the 5 spontaneous movements or 5 oseis (+ and – vital re-activities) and its structure, the osei scheme.

ANNUAL REGISTRATION

 

SEITAI activities are reserved for those students enrolled, except for the introductory course, occasional courses and consultation.

If you wish to enrol, you need to have attended the introductory course or to be introduced by two students certifying that the applicant has received proper information about the SEITAI culture.

Enrolment, annual, must be renewed every year in january: 110.

Sessions

 

Orientation SEITAI course. Monitor and instructor training

Monthly fee: 100 € (allowing access to the previously mentioned regular activities)
This course 2016-2017 will begin on 28 September

Based on this course and from next year, will be possible to do the middle course and the upper
This training is only for those that have been in regular practice for two years minimum.

 

Introductory courses by the forthcoming Barcelona SEITAI Foundation

Schedule: every third weekend and fourth Saturday of every month except July and December:

Registration fee: 150 € (50% discount with an unemployment certificate or a “Carnet Jove” -youth card-)

Those taking part in the course participants that enrol in the SEITAI after the course, will pay a €40 registration fee for year (instead of €110.)
